(My 3 Sons gave us such things as people talking at the same time not Altman!)
2) My Name is Earl is another perfect series for you and all about the importance of Free.
3) Of course you should always be checking out ACL and have it on the DVR and delete the weak shows like Bon Iver.
4) I can't say about other shows like Breaking Bad or documentaries that is personal taste and many of the docs are lame. Since the corps have blocked on demand content we still have to go Netflix DVD to get the good films. I understand Wattstax is still available which should let you proudly fly your old school wigger flag... Dude they have Alone Again by Gilbert O'Sullivan on Utube. I wonder if they have Dan England...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10400944249367911850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6777282.post-60867291261813761712013-06-06T11:23:50.074-06:002013-06-06T11:23:50.074-06:00First of all according to the latest research if w...First of all according to the latest research if we don't get the Alzheimer's from not exercising, eating badly, not engaging in and questioning life then we don't lose synapses in our brain we gain them in all stages of life. Kids just are intense about experiencing things for the first time so they remember well when they have this intensity.
And as adults we multi-task which means we get stressed and that's when we forget It is not memory it is multi-tasking. But the key is:
1) Exercise- anaerobic, aerobic the right ways
2) Eat what you love like the Big Time Merchantile is still open because we need fat. We also need nitrates from bacon, the good cholestorol from eggs and lots of caffeine from coffee The original study didn't filter out of smokers so we now know Coffee is great for us and we need lots of caffeine for the heart and so on. Drink it often and lots of it. Eat the fat. But you eat the bad stuff like bacon to get the nitrates or chocolate in moderation Also 1-2 beers a day or maybe 5-6 a week is very good for you. After that Beer is bad. And may I suggest there are many great brands other than the horrible Buds and Coors you like to serve. Far more in fact than just a Peroni and there are also some amazing Ciders out there too like Woodchucks that come from non-corporate rip-off people who have a good heart and soul.
3) You must single-task and enjoy the things you like to do one step at a time and only focus on that one thing each time. When we are pressured to do a lot at once we feel like we are losing our memories, we get cranky, we become stressed and depressed and if we can't relieve the stress with say sex and other things from the relationship we stay that way. That is a senior moment that people get with kids too and at any age we just focus on it in older age but it's stress. But when we find our purpose in a signle task at a time and enjoy God's structure/balance the right way for Him then we kick ass and engage in the moment. And we do what we do well to feel confident and do much better than the people with relationships. The brain scans show this time and time again.

I am now reading Rambo which is considered one of the great World novels and I recommend it to everyone because it shows us how developing sides instead of taking action and solving problems causes like minds to be very different. I've got a great book to read on the making of Vertigo which some claim is our greatest work of the cinema now after the 50s people hated it. Then I have the colored versions of the Scott Pilgrim series and the start of the Carl Barks library to read. Barks was a very rock and roll and cinematic style writer and a master storyteller- except I don't like that he turned Donald into a straight Duck. THere was a mighty fine retrospective on the Sound Opinions podcast about the 45th anniversay of Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison one of the greatest live recordings ever. I also cite Jerry Lee Lewis at the Star Club and Otis at Monterey (better than Hendrix of course) as 2 of the others. I also love that through Utube- God bless it- I can see such things as all the Herb videos like the official video for This Guy's In Love which is mighty fine!!! It reminds me of Mr. Hinkel singing while Pete is staring at me during the entire song and I have to hide in the back with the Atari.
4) You need 8 hours of sleep each night.
5) You need to stay engaged with others and/or what is your purpose in life.
